Daniel J. Sobczak is a clinical leader and board director based in London, Ontario, dedicated to dismantling systemic barriers in healthcare through strategic governance and specialized geriatric care.
Currently, Daniel serves as a Board Director for LEADS Employment Services, where he provides executive oversight and health-centric advocacy to foster inclusive employment and community growth. Within the institutional landscape of St. Joseph’s Health Care London, he serves as the Co-Chair of the Physiotherapy Council and is a member of the Professional Practice Advisory Council (PPAC). Daniel’s frontline expertise is rooted in the Specialized Geriatric Services program at St. Joseph’s, where he focuses on complex rehabilitation and patient advocacy. This commitment to accessibility extends to his private practice, Daniel The Physio, which provides home-based care designed to meet patients where they are, both physically and personally.
An advocate for evidence-based practice, Daniel is a published researcher in Frontiers in Psychiatry (2022) and has served as a Guest Speaker for the Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA). His academic journey at McMaster University, where he earned both his BScKin and MScPT with Distinction, was marked by his time as a Marauder Scholar, a recognition of elite performance as a varsity student-athlete.
Recognized with the President’s Grant Award and multiple nominations for Excellence in Clinical Practice, Daniel continues to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and community governance to evolve the way healthcare is delivered and experienced.
